Return and exchange policy

All our items are final sale; no exchanges or refunds are accepted. This applies to the online store, official store, points of sale, and pop-up shops.

Damage and/or defective product

In the event that your product arrives damaged during transport, please notify us promptly upon receipt of any problems and include images to support the claim at the following email address: info@lileparfumee.ca We use appropriate materials to protect our products during transport, but incidents caused by delivery personnel can occur.

Delivery

Orders of $149 or less: $12.99 delivery fee
Orders of $150+ (before taxes): Free shipping

Shipments are made using Purolator, GLS, or Canada Post. Order processing time is usually 1 to 3 business days. Delivery typically takes 2 to 3 business days, but this may be longer for various reasons beyond our control (peak periods, holidays, remote areas, etc.).

If the customer provides incorrect shipping information, they will be responsible for any additional costs incurred for reshipment. No refunds will be issued.

We are not responsible for late order receipts and we are not responsible for damage to packaging or items during delivery.

Shipping is available throughout Canada.

My package seems to be lost, what should I do?

You can contact the Purolator team directly at 1-888-744-7123, GLS at 1-888-463-4266, or Canada Post at 1-866-607-6301 with the tracking number you received by email. They will be able to track your package and tell you exactly where it is. If they tell you they can't find it, write to us at info@lileparfumee.ca

Order pairing

If you wish to request a combined order, please send your request by email to info@lileparfumee.ca with your order numbers. We will inform you whether the boxes are closed or if combining orders is possible. A shipping fee will be refunded if combining orders is possible.

The in-store pickup option when you check out on our website is only for in-store pickups and not for adding to orders.

Pre-orders

If an order is placed with a pre-order item and an in-stock item, please note that we will ship the items in the same package when the pre-order item becomes available.

Payment by bank transfer

Payment by Interac e-Transfer is possible upon request. Send the total amount of your payment to the following email address: lileparfume8@gmail.com (answer to the security question: perfume).

In-store pickup

Withdrawals are made only at the Montreal store Orders are usually ready in 24-48 hours. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is ready for in-store pickup. In-store pickups are available during the Montreal store's opening hours only.

*IMPORTANT NOTICE: The in-store pickup option when you check out on our website is only for in-store pickups and not for adding to orders.

Promotional Code

If you have a promo code, you must enter it in the designated space at checkout. If you forget to enter your promo code after paying for your order, it will unfortunately no longer be possible to apply the code later. Promo codes are valid online only and cannot be combined.

Blind purchase

By placing an order on our online store without first testing the fragrance, you acknowledge that you are making a blind purchase. You understand that there is always a risk of not liking a fragrance you haven't smelled beforehand. L'île Parfumée cannot be held responsible if the fragrance does not meet your expectations. Purchasing without a scent test is a personal and conscious choice on your part. It is always recommended to test a fragrance on your skin before purchasing it due to the many factors that can affect how the fragrance reacts with your skin.

Recommendations

We offer the best possible recommendations based on our knowledge, experience, company statistics, and the information you provide. However, it's important to note that perfumery remains a personal and subjective experience.

Scent preferences vary greatly from person to person, influenced by several factors such as taste, olfactory memory, skin pH, environment, emotions associated with certain scents, body chemistry, skin type, etc. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the recommended perfumes will perfectly match your personal tastes.

By placing an order on our site, you acknowledge that our suggestions are given for guidance purposes only and that L'île Parfumée cannot be held responsible if you do not like a perfume following our recommendations.
